Private Cabo Whale Sharks Encounter

Your private whale shark encounter in Cabo will be an excursion you’ll never forget! We’ll take you to La Paz, where you will be able to swim alongside the largest fish in the ocean: the incredible whale shark!

Swimming near and even alongside whale sharks is an awe-inspiring experience but also a safe one. You may feel a rush of adrenaline during your encounter when you see a whale shark open its huge mouth, but as large as their mouths can be, they actually eat tiny micro-organisms. Their throats are only as large as a quarter!

Whale sharks are as peaceful as they are massive (up to 65 feet in length and over 12 tons), which is why it is possible to join them in the crystal clear waters of the Sea of Cortez for swimming with whale sharks.

You’ll learn a lot during your swim with these creatures, which should be noted are sharks, not whales. While they aren’t considered an endangered species, whale sharks are a vulnerable species according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

• Fairly vigorous swimming required
• Previous snorkeling experience recommended
• Per maritime regulations, life jackets must always be worn
• Guests with respiratory problems, limited mobility, neck or back problems and expectant mothers may not participate
